Need For Speed: High Stakes Cheats

    Easy Money with one Memory Card

    You must have 2 cars or enough money to buy another. Go to 2 player mode then high stakes. When it asks to save the game say yes. Now pick a track and continue. Now when it loads the car from the memory card take it out of slot 1 and put in slot 2. The game will think there are 2 memory cards. Now beat the car it thinks is player 2 and you will win the car and can sell it

    Extra Cars

    Finish the Hot Pursuit Mode with each police car to get extra cars. You get a BMW M5, Corvette, Porsche, Caprice and a Lamborghini

    Get Dashboard View

    After picking the game options, press Start to begin a race and immediately press and hold Up + triangle + X before the loading screen appears. Hold these buttons until after the screen disappears

    Turning on headlights, hazards and Turn Signals

    Hold L1 and press Left or Right to use the turn signals. Hold L1 and press Down to turn on the hazard lights, L1 + Up for headlights.

    Fast Cash

    You must use 2 memory cards. Copy your Need 4 Speed 4 file from the first card to the second. Now race in High Stakes mode and pause the game and forfeit the race. Repeat this until all the cars are on the memory card and you will have 2 of each car. Sell them for cash

    Helicopter without cheat

    To get the helicopter without the cheat you must go to Kindiak Park in hot pursuit. You have to arrest 10 speeders with the caprice. If you do you will unlock the Chevrolet Corvette police unit. You must then arrest 10 more speeders with the corvette. When you do that you unlock the diablo police unit. Then again arrest 10 speeders with the diablo. Finally if you have done this you will unlock the hellicopter. Believe it or not,this is possible. You can only use the Helicopter in Test Drive Mode.

    Put in Whirly as the name to get all cars in test drive and versus modes. "Cheat Activated" should appear. You cannot save with this cheat Helicopter will be available in Test Drive Mode

    To get super cop cars arrest 10 speeders by the given time on hot persuit

    Get Phantom & Titin Without cheat

    To get the Phantom you must complete all tracks in tournament with a first place trophey. To get the Titan you must complete all tracks in Special Events with a first place trophy. (THIS IS POSSIBLE!!!)

    Put in Flash as the name to get the phantom. "Cheat Activated" should appear

    Place First in Tournament Fast (Requires Gameshark)

    You need a gameshark for this.
    Activate the 225 race points code then in the tournament, start the race then as soon as it starts quit the race and you will be placed first. This code will not work in Special Events though

    Play your favorite music in between of the race

    When you are racing one way to cahnge the songs are to pause the race,then resume it. But another easy way to change the songs are to press L1 and L2 together. (Also reported as pressing L1 + R1) First it will say music off but keep pressing the buttons until you get your favorite song.(My favorite song is BIONIC)

    Go to username and enter your name as NFS PD to unlock police cheat menu Begin hot pursuit mode as a cop hold L1 thats your cheat menu hit up to turn your sirens off and the car you are trying to catch will slowdown and drive the speedlimit. When you want to pull him over get beside him and turn your sirens. Hold L1 and hit "SQUARE" to call for backup Holf L1 and "triangle" for spikebelt hold L1 and "o" to setup a spike belt

    Corvette and Porsche ltd. Edition

    Enter the special event called 'Corvette Pro Cup' and win a gold trophy/medal in it and you will get the hidden car 'Pro Cup Corvette'. Next enter the 'Porsche Pro Challenge' and win a gold trophy/medal in it and you will get the 'Pro Cup Porsche'. Both cars are souped up variations of its original counterparts. Note: Both events are ridiculously hard so don't expect to win on the first try.

    After picking a single race, test drive or high pursuit mode press Start to begin the race after picking options and immediately hold Left + Circle + Square before the loading screen appears. Keep held until loading is done. Also reported as go to main menu and put in the user name HEAVY.

    Drunk Mode

    After selecting your car, press Start to load the race, then before the loading screen appears, immediately hold Up+L2+R1. Continue to hold the buttons until the loading screen disappears. The screen will now be blurred, giving the effect you are drunk.

    The turbo cheat - update

    Press UP + TRIANGLE + X before the loading screen appears. Hold these buttons until the count down begins 3-2-1 go !
    Then just hold down the horn button for quicker acceleration.

    Put in Hotrod as the name to get all cars in test drive and versus modes. "Cheat Activated" should appear. You cannot save with this cheat. You can use the Titan in special events mode by completing all special events with gold trophies.
